Wild Trek is the adventurous story of Chiri, the half-wild hero of Snow Dog, and his trapper master. They are on a search and rescue mission to find a naturalist whose plane had been forced down on the Caribou Mountains in the Canadian wilderness. In the middle of their dangerous journey, they lose all their equipment. They now need to rely on the dog's wild background and his owner's woods-wisdom in order to survive. This is a tale that demonstrates the courage, ingenuity, and loyalty of both man and dog.
